Merry Christmas!

Tony had quite a Christmas! It started on Friday with his daycare Christmas party. Santa showed up and Tony got to sit on his lap. Once again, the beard was confusing.

   

We went to the Christmas Eve service at Central Lutheran. Tony did great! Well, he did great as long as we passed him up and down the pew. Everyone got a turn - Carol, Rich, Grandma, Grandpa, Anthony and me. Anthony took him out just once. Overall, a success. We also found out that "Silent Night" is Tony's favorite Christmas carol. Apparently, that's all it takes to put him to sleep.

We went to Carol's for Christmas Eve dinner after the service. Two new discoveries - Tony likes bacon and  blue cheese. One thing for sure, this kid likes sour things. Definitely Anthony's child. When we got back to Grandma and Grandpa's house, we opened gifts. Tony got more presents than all of us! Though he would have been happy with a roll of wrapping paper. He was way more interested in that than anything inside the packages.

On Christmas Day we all took it easy. Carol and Rich came over in the afternoon to have dinner. We left around 7pm. Once we got home we took down the tree and all decorations since we wouldn't be home until after the New Year. Kind of a fitting and ceremonious end to the Holiday. This year was fun, but I'm looking forward to next year when Tony will have a better idea of what Christmas is all about!
