This week hasn't been easy. I have been sick. Not just a cold or sinus infection, but sick
sick. I stayed home with Tony the first day. Luckily, he was very good for me - not fussy at all. Mainly because I let him have his run of the house. It was D.E.S.T.R.O.Y.E.D. by the end of the day; he had a blast. The next day I took Tony to daycare and went home. It was nice to be able to rest. I still am not feeling great, but definitely better than I was. Antibiotics are little miracle workers.

Yesterday was hard. My Great Aunt Emy passed away on Jan. 5. Tony went to the visitation with me on Thursday night. He got to meet many of this relatives for the first time. Yesterday was the funeral. It was a beautiful service. There will be a huge void now. Emy was a big part of our family. I especially will miss her. I always looked forward to seeing her. I'm so thankful for the short time that Tony was able to spend with Emy. Even though he won't remember, those times meant so much to me.

Emy recently sent me a letter with a couple pictures of Tony and her from our last visit. Between the holidays and being sick, I can't find them now. You can be sure that I will be tearing the house apart to find them. Tony should be a good helper in that department.
