It was Bound to Happen

It finally happened. The petri dish we call daycare finally got the better of Little Tony and his uncompromised immune system. (Actually, I think it got the better of me and I gave him the bug.) He was coughing terribly to the point of throwing up. Sleeping also became a challenge. And, when Tony ain't sleeping, ain't nobody sleeping. Calling Dr. Vu! We made a trip to the doctor, but unfortunately Dr. Vu was booked. We saw Dr. Sullivan, who was fantastic! We really like him. Tony thought his tie was fascinating and yummy. We had Nurse Pakou, which saddened Nurse Ashleigh, who we ran into there. Nurse Ashleigh managed to get some quality face time though. Tony was diagnosed with The Crud. Yes, that is the technical name for it. Dr. Sullivan put him on Azithromycin, just in case of Pertussis. Tony does NOT care for the taste, and avoids taking it at all cost. (See the lime pictures for a series of the faces made while taking the meds.) We are one day away from discontinuing the medicine now. Tony is much better and getting back to his old, cheerful self. Though he never really lost that. He was just a much more muted version of himself.

The biggest news from the visit: TONY IS 17LBS, 12 OZ!! As his Dad says, "BIG BOY!"
