Mr. Manners

Tony has impecable manners. He courteously says "please" and "thank you" and "you're welcome" appropriately and ad nauseam. His daycare teachers comment on how polite he is, which makes me extraordinarily proud. He inquires as to how people are feeling, blesses those who sneeze, rubs the back of those coughing. He's an all-around sweet boy. Here is a transcript from a conversation Tony and I had last night:

Tony: "Have a good day today?"
Me: "Yes, thank you for asking. How was yours?"
Tony: "Good. Thank you for asking, sir."

His heart was in the right spot. Now that we have the manners down, we'll get to work on pronouns.
