Following the doctor was a trip to The Uptowner for banana pancakes where Tony politely announced to the waiter that it was his birthday. When Tony got to daycare a bit later all his friends were waiting for him and they immediately started singing. Tony got to wear a crown for the day that he refused to take off. He had a great time, but maybe that's because I brought cookies for everyone and they were all hyper on sugar.

I picked Tony up early from daycare so we could go celebrate. We met Daddy at Edinborough Park. Edinborough is a huge indoor park with all sorts of Tony's favorites. He didn't know what to do with himself. There was a bounce house, and basketball hoops, and and a multi-story jungle gym! We went through that I don't even know how many times. We were there for FOUR hours and Tony wanted more, but it was dinner was calling.
We went to Chik-fil-A. What kid doesn't like that?! Tony ordered his own meal (kid's meal "b"), and ate it all! He then asked the manager for another applesauce. Of course he could have another one - it was his birthday and he was still wearing his crown to prove it. Chi-fil-A has an indoor playground so guess what we did after dinner. Tony the 2-year old went down the slide a few times and then it was time to go. The birthday had come to a close. And, boy, was it a success.
