Christmas. Chapter 2: The St. Paul Hotel Candy Cane Tea.

This was a good idea. Maybe more in theory, than in reality. Don't get me wrong, it was fun, but Tony is not prepared to participate in such high-class activities yet. And, it's very hectic for me. There was a five course tea, including little sandwiches and lots of sugar. Tony was a bit confused by the sandwiches. The one with mascarpone cheese was a little too reminiscent of lotion, so Tony smeared it on his hands and face. Good thing I brought bunny crackers instead. Tony also wanted nothing to do with Santa. My nightmare came true at this moment - Santa told me I could sit on his lap with Tony. Oh h-e-double-hockey-sticks no. But, I did it. The things I do for this kid... Maybe we will try again in a couple years.
