Christmas. Chapter 1: The Daycare Party
Daycare threw their annual Christmas party, and unlike last year, Tony was ALL IN. He was the only kid who was standing. I'd like to think he was just enthusiastic about the activities, but really, he's a ham (and won't stay in one place for more than about 20 seconds). He was shocked when Santa arrived. We talked about Santa, but there he was. In the flesh. Tony froze and immediately returned to my lap. Once Santa was done reading a story, he handed out presents. Tony was READY. When his name was called he popped up and grabbed his gifts, making sure to say, "Tank youuu." Then the party really began. Tony got the dance party started. It was a party of one, but a party none the less. He was the lone dancer. All he needed was a lampshade on his head.
