Midsummer Night's Dream

The past couple weeks have been a wild ride! And so much fun. In a nutshell: 1) Anthony was home for over a week! 2) Grandma and Grandpa Pledger visited complete with a KC-style bar-b-que; 3) Anthony's friend Aaron (and now my friend, too) from Fort Worth stayed with us for a week; 4) the 4th of July happened; 5) we spent a week at the cabin; 6) Tony and I went to the zoo; and 7) I started a new job!

Tony got to play in a pool, in the lake, with a dog, in a garden, with multiple wagons (which are the new favorite), tell all the animals at the zoo to "sit!", try all sorts of new food, stay up way too late at night, eat popsicles, meet new friends, "drive" a boat and car, run naked, and spend the whole time with Daddy!

We had a blast! (Sometimes literally.) It was so great to see family and friends to celebrate summer, the holiday and new adventures. We were so busy that I forgot to take pictures. Luckily, Anthony took a few to document some of the fun.

And now, I need a nap.
