Raffi

Tony went to his first concert today. Raffi. Yes, Raffi is still around and touring. His first album came out three years before I was born. I know, I'm thinking the same thing - wouldn't you get sick of singing "Baby Beluga" for 30 years?! He is still very popular with the 1.5 - 4 year old crowd though. The concert was exactly one hour long, which appeared to be about 45minutes longer than some of the children would have liked. Tony was a rockstar. I wish we were able to record his reaction when the lights dimmed and the concert started. He was bouncing and clapping as hard as he could. That reaction  lasted for about 5 songs, then he was done. Just sat there listening. No more clapping. The whole thing really wore him out. By 6pm tonight he was sound asleep for the night! I supposed I'm going to have to invest the box set of Raffi now. Too bad they didn't have tour t-shirts to commemorate the occasion.
