Our (Not So) Little Boy

We had Tony's 4-Month doctor's appointment this morning. It's never a fun time. Tony was so excited to be there! He TORE apart the exam table paper, kicking, grabbing and laughing.

Look at those chins!
Little did he know what was about to happen next. Shots. Again. We gave him baby Tylenol before going this morning in an effort to ease the discomfort. Unfortunately, that doesn't help when the shots are actually given. Before the big reveal of the shot pictures, the vitals:

Weight: 16lbs, 6oz. 76th percentile
Head circumference: 16 inches. 60th percentile
Height: 26 inches! 93rd percentile

So, he's as big as a 6 month old. The boy likes to grow! My fingers are crossed for the next Lebron James. Anthony would like a "tall senator."

Since he's such a big boy, Dr. Vu said he's ready for solids. My thought was - solid in, solid out. I don't know if we are prepared for that just yet. It's happened a couple times and that was enough for me. And, I know it was enough for Anthony. Dr. Vu gave us some tricks to make it easier on little tummies, so that should help the transition. Look for those updates in our next installment. To tide you over, here are the pictures from today!

You know, just checking things out

This is kinda fun. All the attention.

I changed my mind. This is terrible!!!

It's over, but it's still awful! What did you do to me?!

I'll be ok. I'll be ok. I'll be ok.

Dad to the rescue.

All better.
