Tony and I flew to Houston on Friday because I had an event there. Anthony met us at the airport but Tony and I were on our own doe the flight. This caused me no small amount of anxiety, mainly because we had to be to the sirport by about 7:30am and had a 50 minute layover in Atlanta. If you know the Atlanta airport, you know that 50 minutes is ambitious to make it to the next flight. We made it and met a celebrity along the way - Djimon Hounsou said hi to Tony.
Tony slept for leg #1 (Thank you, Jesus). And being fully rested was awake for leg #2. Good thing I brought reinforcements. Tony listened to "E-I-E-I-O farm" over and over and over on his tablet with his Elmo headphones. Airplane internet is a godsend. He took the time to blow a kiss to the flight attendant, which resulted in a free bottle of wine for me, and ate a pb&j I packed, but was busy and quiet the rest of the time. He read books and even got his own seat. Fingers crossed that the return flight goes just as smoothly.
