Poppy

Grandma Mary watched Tony today because daycare was closed. I got a phone call update about the day. Reported was the following:

- Tony was playing with my old Little People.
- included in the Little People toys is a toilet.
- Tony opened the toilet and sat on it. (You can imagine how proportionally this was hilarious.)
- when asked if Tony needed to go potty he replied in the affirmative.
- After the removal of the diaper Tony lifted the toilet seat in front of him and peed on the floor.

Though Tony just turned 18 months old this week, it seems that he wants to use the toilet (at least in theory he does). I noticed that he had an interest in the restroom a couple weeks ago but what doesn't he have an interest in these days. I went to Target after work and bought a training potty. When he saw it he said, "poppy." I guess we are entering phase one of poppy training.
