Cracker Snacks

The other morning I walked into daycare to see an adorable scene. All the babies were sitting on a blanket having a snack - Ritz crackers to be exact. Sonja immediately grabbed Tony to join the indoor picnic. She said they were practicing sitting on the blanket so that when they go outside all the babies know how to do that. The things you wouldn't even consider - you have to train the babies to stay on the blanket so they don't  go in all directions. This is clearly something that they have learned the hard way.

To my shock and excitement - TONY SITS BY HIMSELF! I had no idea that he could do that! I told them a few days ago that I wasn't sure if he knew how to sit, and voila! Yet another reason why I love daycare. He also eats crackers. He hoards enough for him, but shares the extras. The lesson learned: bring your camera to daycare every time.
