The Final Countdown

It's the final week . Due day approaching at T-2 days! We are praying for an on-time arrival. I am becoming more and more uncomfortable now. The false labor contractions are also becoming more and more painful. Things are just plain harder. I feel so lucky that this has only happened recently. I have had so few problems that sticking this out for another week or so is no problem.

#1 thing I am looking forward to - not worrying about what is happening on the inside. We had another scare last week. I was in a minor fender bender (on the one day we got snow this winter!). A woman turned in front of me and I couldn't stop in time. The car sustained some damage - sorry, Anthony. Though the accident was minor, I ended up in the hospital as a precaution. We had a non-stress test done for a couple hours. Everyone looked great! Baby boy was fine. Phew. It's all so scary when you can't see what's happening.

We had another doctor's appointment last Thursday. Things seem to have stalled a bit. It looks like I'm going to be overdue. He hasn't dropped, and seems to be very comfortable in there. Of course, all of this could change very quickly. Dr. Vu set a deadline for how long he has left on the inside. If nothing happens by March 2, then he's coming out one way or the other! The end is in sight. It's very surreal to think about how in less than two weeks life will change forever.
